EdifyHER Story
Learn About Us
EdifyHER was an awakening in the midst of our own heart’s pressure, perplexity and pain at a time when we were extremely burned out and weary in ministry, business, relationships, careers, and life. After 17 years of waiting, wrestling, struggling, falling, preparing, and persevering, we have not lost heart! Little by little EdifyHER became a reality that came to life first in our heart, then in our heads, and now, finally, it’s ready to be handed from our hearts to yours, for YOU!
EdifyHER is proof of the redeeming, faithful, patient, kind, and never-ending love of God. Through all of our insecurities, inadequacies, and impulses (and we still struggle with those), God, by His grace, has given us this privilege to partner with Him as His friends to walk and work with Him in order to edify the hearts of others, one leader at a time. It is our privilege to be part of God’s Heart Mission: a heart that is compelled to edify.
May this video of our back story edify your heart, and may your heart’s back story continue to edify the hearts and lives of others in the days ahead, too!
“Aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual up-building
(edification and development) of one another.”

Statement of Belief
We believe God, through His son Jesus Christ (John 3:16, 1 John 1:4) has been and continues in the mission of edifying (building up, strengthening, encouraging and restoring) and unifying (connecting, purifying, reconciling) His Bride, the Church (HER) from the beginning of time (Genesis 3, Colossians 1:20, Ephesians 4:25, John 17). Through His very breath, the Living Bible (John 1:1, Hebrews 4:12) He has entrusted us (1 Thessalonians 2:4) and invites us to be His friends, to walk and work with Him in accomplishing His work, His will, and with His power through the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:6, Acts1:8).
We believe edification is a privilege and a gift to us by the very grace, truth, mercy and love that overflows from our relationship with Jesus Christ who is “edification” in the flesh (Romans 11:36). As we desire to seek God first in all we say and do (Math 6:33), we believe we bring God glory and honor as we walk to edify others through support, encouragment, and the restoring of hearts and lives effectively building up one heart at a time.
